’’ I started my raft / Safety Kayaking career on the Ottawa River in '88, moved to Golden BC to work on the Kicking Horse in '92 and still think it is a great place to call home. I have been working with Hydra since '98 and look forward to getting into the lower canyon every season! I spend my winters as an ACMG Ski Guide Catskiing and Touring in the Selkirk Mountains.’’

’’ I have been rafting for 8 seasons; on the upper Red Deer, the Jacques Cartier and the mighty Kicking Horse River. In the winter, I am a back country snowmobile guide out of Golden, BC. During the off seasons I spend my time traveling for kayaking, surfing and rock climbing. I am very excited to spend another season with the great folks at Hydra and show everyone what this beautiful river has to offer.’’

’’ I am a diamond in amongst all the gems here at Hydra River Guides. Born and raised in central BC, I have become a nomad over the past 12 years calling home where ever I rest my head. I started guiding on the Ottawa River in 2008 and this is my sixth season on the Kicking Horse River. My goal is to become an outdoor educator for the BC public school system and I am currently in my final year and a half of studies. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for the river. My main goal on the river is to make you look good because when looking good its easy to have a great day. ’’

’’ I have been guiding rafts for 3 years. I guided for a couple of seasons on the Elk River in Fernie, and on several rivers on Vancouver Island. For the past couple of years I have also worked as a high school teacher running an outdoor ed program on Vancouver Island. I am passionate about whitewater kayaking, and also enjoy back country skiing, rock climbing, and surfing. This will be my first season with Hydra, and I am very excited to work with such an amazing crew. I look forward to seeing you on the river!’’
