"I started my raft / Safety Kayaking career on the Ottawa River in '88, moved to Golden BC to work on the Kicking Horse in '92 and still think it is a great place to call home. I have been working with Hydra since '98 and look forward to getting on the river every season! I spend my winters as an ACMG Ski Guide Catskiing and Touring in the Selkirk Mountains."

"I have been rafting for 8 seasons; on the upper Red Deer, the Jacques Cartier and the mighty Kicking Horse River. In the winter, I am a back country snowmobile guide out of Golden, BC. During the off seasons I spend my time traveling for kayaking, surfing and rock climbing. I am very excited to spend another season with the great folks at Hydra and show everyone what this beautiful river has to offer."
"I am a diamond in amongst all the gems here at Hydra River Guides. Born and raised in central BC, I have become a nomad over the past 12 years calling home where ever I rest my head. I started guiding on the Ottawa River in 2008 and this is my sixth season on the Kicking Horse River. My goal is to become an outdoor educator for the BC public school system and I am currently in my final year and a half of studies. I love sharing my knowledge and passion for the river. My main goal on the river is to make you look good because when looking good its easy to have a great day."

"Coming from Ontario, with the gift of the gab, I started river guiding in 08! With 10 years of experience on Canadian rivers I’m certainly in love with the water!! I spend my winters riding rainbows, surf kayaking and teaching yoga in the up. “This magical river unicorn is sure to bring the woo to any raft riders!” When I’m not on the river you’ll find me traveling, surfing, doing pottery and tearing up the dance floor. "
"Originally from Saskatchewan I have been guiding for 8 seasons in various locations such as; Norway, Yukon, NWT, BC and Alberta. I try to get home to my parents dairy farm 2-3 times a year. I have just completed my diploma in natural resources compliance and hope to one day get a year round job in my field. But guiding is my drug and I would like to keep doing it for a few more seasons! "

Sarah couldn’t decide what she wanted to do when she grew up, so you might encounter her here at Hydra in the office, guiding your raft, cooking lunch or behind the camera. She loves the mountains and all that Golden has to offer in terms of world-class outdoor adventure. Sarah moonlights as a University researcher writing about sustainability (don’t ask or you’ll learn more than you want to) and teaching stand-up paddleboard (SUP) yoga.

I am originally from Australia but have been in the Rockies for almost a year now and absolutely love it! When I'm not working for Hydra you can normally find me down by the canoe docks in Banff, mountain biking, hiking, or camping. "
