The Family Whitewater trip is perfect for families seeking a calmer river experience.

$109 per adult $89 per child

Starting from our private river base, enjoy a serene family float down the Kicking Horse River. Marvel at the scenery, lookout for wildlife and enjoy some commentary from our friendly guides. Then, it’s onto some whitewater! Get a taste of the rapids, enjoy the splashes from class 1-3 waves and maybe even share in a rival raft water fight. After your trip, once you’re back in dry clothes, check out your group rafting shot in our lodge and maybe pick up a souvenir of your day.

Trip Details

9:15am am daily

Trip Duration: 1 hour on water, 2-2.5 hours in total

Everything to get you on the river: wetsuit, fleece, spray jacket, life jacket, neoprene booties and helmet plus guide instruction and safety briefing. Please bring a swimsuit, towel & bag for personal belongings. There is a secure place on site to leave your belongings while rafting.

Meet at the Hydra River Base in Golden, BC

Lunch is not included in this trip, however drinks and snacks can be purchased on site.

Families with children aged 8-11 yrs. First time rafters (over 12yrs) should try the Kicking Horse Classic trip.

All rafters must be at least 8 years of age and weigh minimum 50lbs.
